Parenting Matters Trust is a registered charity governed by a volunteer board of trustees with its offices located in Wokingham. We have been working in the Wokingham Borough area since 2002. We promote high standards of facilitation in parenting education by training and supporting facilitators and keeping abreast of all the latest research and product development related to parenting.

As key leaders in this district, we are members of the national organisation Parenting UK and encourage professionalism in the field. We participate in strategic development of parenting and endeavour to raise awareness of the availability of parent support and education throughout the community.

We run courses and workshops as single, themed sessions such as Changing Families, Managing Stress, Single Parenting, Bullying, Managing Children's Anger and the Role of Fathers. Themes for our courses include managing teenagers, primary children and pre-school children and assertiveness for parents.

We run courses and workshops for parents, grandparents, step-parents, adoptive parents and carers of children from 1 to 18 and beyond. We also offer talks to groups of parents, seminars to businesses and coaching services to individual families.
